Who Is This Kid?

Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, Darnell was exposed to the harsh realities of inner city life at a young age. Despite the challenges he faced, he found solace in films. As a child, he would often borrow his family's camcorder to create short films with his friends. As he grew older, his passion for the craft only intensified, leading him to pursue a career in the film industry.

Through hard work and determination, he was able to break into the industry and make a name for himself. Darnell has worked on a variety of projects, honing his skills and building a reputation as a talented and dedicated filmmaker.

Despite facing obstacles as a young black man in the industry he has never lost sight of his dream and continues to strive for success. He is determined to use his platform to tell stories that give a voice to underrepresented communities and shine a light on the issues that matter most to him.
